This evening’s Erev Shabbat service, conducted by Rabbi Dreyfus, begins at 8:00 pm. Carole Pfefferman will be the Chazanit.
After services, the Adult Education Committee presents a program about Alzheimer’s Disease and caring for those with the disease. Beverly Fetherling, marketing director of Arden Court, Hazel Crest will speak on Alzheimers, and the care of individuals with Alzheimers and Dementia.
Tomorrow morning’s Shabbat Service will begin at 10:00 am, The service will be conducted by Rabbi Dreyfus and Niki Cummings will be the Chazanit.The Parsha is Naso, Numbers 4:21 - 7:89. We learn of the Gershonites, the Kohatites, more about leprosy (but it probably isn’t really leprosy), the trials that a women accused by her husband of infidelity, must undergo to prove her faithfulness.
The Hafarah is Judges 13:2 - 25.
