Shabbat Shalom — 26 Sh’vat

The weather outside may be frightful, but the Adult Choir will be leading  services beginning at 8:00 pm.

Tomorrow morning’s Shabbat service will be conducted by Rabbi Wolkow beginning at 10:00 am.  Carole Fefferman witll be the Chazanit.

The Parsha ia Exodus 21:1?24:18, wherein, after last Shabbat’s rendition of the Aesret HaD’brot, we continue with all sorts of other laws — dealing with slaves, homicide, other criminal and civil laws (including tort law)  At the end, Moses, Aaron and Arron’s son and seventy elderss go up to the mountain to hear the words of G-d from Moses, and Moses sprinkles blood on the elders.
