Who easily realizes that the dreams for tell seven years of huge harvests and seven years of meager harvests. He suiggests, and Pharoah approves pulling off the surplus grain for storage during the first seven years; when the famine hits, Pharoah is the only source of food in the areaand soon gains control over whatever he didn’t have control of before. Joseph becomes quite powerful, and in charge of the surplus grain. Jacob, not knowing that Joseph is alive, sends all of his sons except Benjamin to Egypt to get grain, and Joseph sells it to them, after questioning them about brother Benjamin. He tells them not to return without Benjamin. All goes well for a couple of years, and then Jacob sends them back for more, but they refuse to go without Benjamin. Jacob relents, and the group returns to Egypt for more food.
