Congregation Am Echad has scheduled a Tisha B’Av service, commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the Expulsion of the Jewish People from Spain, and just about anything else that you can think of that has befallen the Jews, all of which happened to fall on the 9th day of the month of Av.
The service will begin at 8:30 pm. The central part of the service is reading from the Book of Lamentations.
