We will be ending up the book of Leviticus with the double portion of Behar and Bchuckotai, Leviticus 25:1 - 27:34. BeHar (which really should be known as BeHar Sinai) tells of the commandments G-d says to Moses on Mount Sinai, and partiuclarly about the sabbatical year for the land, and the 50th, Jubilee year wherein property revert s to the seller or the borrower, and other rules seemingly difficult to reconcile with the activities in the global economy. The next chapter G-d relates what will happen to the Israelites if they follow G-ds commandments, and what will happen if they don’t. The final chaper concerns the ransoming and redepmtion of people, of land, and of animals.
