Can you hear it? It’s certainly audible here at the temple. It’s the BUZZ about our big BYBS Reunion Event coming up in just a couple of weeks!!!
Reservations are coming in, and even though they were due last week, we know that some of you intend to attend but have not yet sent in your form and check. (We have some spaces at tables indicated on your friends’ forms that tell us that you’re coming, but we need YOUR reservation.)
Some of you have asked about the menu and choices. The regular entree will be chicken. If you prefer fish or a vegetarian entree, please indicate this on your reservation form. If you’ve already sent it in, please call (708-799-4110) or email (office@bybs.org) the temple office and tell Ellen or Cathy your preference, but please do it ASAP. Thanks.
It will be a wonderful evening… music during cocktails by the John Kern Quartet; great food at Ravisloe; exciting items on the auction block, some not even listed in the invitation; entertainment by renowned comedian and commentator Aaron Freeman; photos and memorabilia of TBY, CBS, and BYBS; a chance to honor Rabbi Wolkow, Rabbi Dreyfus, our retiring (but never tired!) educational director Ossie Meisel, and the memory of our beloved Cantor Henry Altman; a time to see old and new friends and share some laughs.
This event on Sunday, April 22 is also an important fund-raiser for our congregation. Whether you can attend or not, please consider making a significant donation to support all the educational programs at BYBS for the present and the future.
