After services, this Friday evening, Richard S. Treptow, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Chicago State University will speak on GLOBAL WARMING - casues, cures and consequences.

Dr. Treptow is an environmentalist and member of the Sierra Club and the Union of Concerned Scientists.  His presentations on global warming are given to educational, community and governmental organizations.  Most recently he taught a T.A.L.E. course at Governors State University focused on the issue. As a follow-up to the Rabbi Dreyfus’s Yom Kippur sermon ,  the B’nai Yehuda Beth Sholom Adult Education Committee presents this first program of the year.
