This last Shabbat of the month of November is also the first Shabbat of the month of Kislev. And if Kislev is here, can Chanukah be far behind? We’ll begin our Simchat Shabbat service at 6:15 PM, with a call to homecoming from our College student home for Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow morning’s Shabbat Service will begin at 10:00 AM. The Parasha will be Tol’dot , Genesis 25:19 ?28:9. ” . . . and these are the Toldot - generations — of Abraham.” We hear about Esau and Jacob, famines, visits to Abimelech, and Isaac, growing old, asks his first born, Esau, to go out and hunt for a suitable animal and make him a stew, preparatory to getting Isaac’s blessings. And there’s more.
