The Sisterhood of Am Echad, Park Forest, invites BYBS members to attend their Opening Event on Sunday, November 12, 2006.
The Shacharit Service begins at 9 am followed by a Deluxe Continental Breakfast and Presentation at 10 am. The featured speaker is Laurence Stern, an amateur historian, whose topic will be President Harry S. Truman: An in-depth study of four events during his presidency—Atom Bomb, Truman Doctrine, 1948 Acceptance Speech and Jews and Israel. Admission is $10 per person in advance and $11 per person at the door.
