The Parsha is Ki Tavo — “When you come in”; surely you remember that last week’s was “When You Go Out” — Deuteronomy 26:1 - 29:8. and includes the things that you are to do when you come in to the land of Israel, generally to follow the laws and thereby gain the blessings of the Lord, and not to violate the laws, a process which will yield little but curses. At the end, Moses reminds the people, once again, of the exodus from Egypt and how G-d sustained them in the desert for 40 years.
