Last night we counted the 49th day of the Omer, being 7 weeks from the second day of Pesach.
Tonight, at 7:30 PM, we celebrate Shavuot, and honor four of our students who have continued their Jewish Studies beyond Bar and Bat Mitzvah, at a Confirmation Ceremony as part of the erev Shavuot service:
Sophie Kern, daughter of Lauren and John Kern
Zachary Rosenfeldt, son of Lorri Rosenfeldt and Sherwin Rosenfeldt
Joseph Rosner, son of Martha Roth and Bryon Rosner
Zachary Tenny, son of Carrie and Jerry Tenny
Our Shavuot celebration continues Friday morning at 10:00 AM.
The services will conclude with Yizkor.
