This evening’s Erev Shabbat Service, will be conducted by Rabbi Dreyfus and will begin at 6:15 PM. We will count day 44, being six weeks and two days of the Omer.

Tomorrow’s Shabbat Morning service, conducted by Rabbi Dreyfus, will begin at 10:00 AM. The Parasha will be B’midbar, the first chapter’s of the book of Numbers. (Numbers 1-1:4-20) We skip ahead to the first day of the second month of the second after the Exodus, when G-d orders a census, by tribe, of men over 20, coming to a grand total of 603,550. (Men in the tribe of Levi were not counted.) Instructions for layout of the tents and camp of all of the families and tribes were given, and rules for redemption of the first born and payment to the Priests. Finally, there are rules for decoration of the tabernacle and similar functions.
