Suzan Held provided the food for last Sunday’s soiree but didn’t get her recipes in on time. So here they are
Sweet and sour meatballs

Meatballs:

2 lbs. Ground beef
2 eggs
½ C. Bread crumbs
½ tsp Chopped parsley
2 tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
4 Tbsp Cold water
Mix together lightly and form into small balls.

Sauce:

1 Minced onion
½ Minced green pepper
1. Saute together in vegetable oil.
2. Add: 1 ½ C Ketsup, 4 Tbsp Mustard, 2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Worcester sauce, 4 Tbsp Brown sugar
3. Simmer gently.
4. Add meatballs.
5. Cook 1 hour.

Pecan Banana Bread

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Baking time: 45 min.
Cream together: ½ C Butter
½ C brown sugar
½ C white sugar
Add to butter and sugar: 3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix well and add: 2 C flour
½ tsp Baking soda
Mix and add: 1 C chopped pecans
4 Tbsp milk
Divide evenly into 2 loaf pans and bake 45 min. at 350 degrees.
