The Parasha is Vayak’heil/P’kudei, Exodus 35:1–40:38
This week’s double section begins with yet another injunction to observe the Sabbath…no work, no fire. It then continues with the construction of the Ark, the Tabernacle, priestly vestments…blue, purple, scarlet, gold, silver, jewels…made by skilled artisans, and closes with the end of the Book of Exodus, with the rearing up of the tabernacle.
