This evening’s ErevShabbat Family Service will begin at 7:30 PM

Kids with January birthdays will be blessed.

Tomorrow’s Shabbat morning’s service will be conducted by Fawn Gottlieb, and will begin at 10:00 AM.

The parasha is Sh’mot, Exodus 1:1 - 6:1.

We begin reading the second book of the Torah, Exodus. (Sh’mot in Hebrew), wherein 400 years has past, the Jews have done well in the area of Goshen in Egypt, and “A new Pharoh arose” who had no memory of all of the good things that Joseph had done for Egypt, and who was afraid that the Jews would work against the Egyptians.
