Learning to Forgive

Karen Kaplan will tell the story of her father who after surviving the Holocaust in the forests of Eastern Europe, limped through the rest of his life in a spiteful and vengeful manner which he inflicted upon his family. She discovered the powerful lesson of forgiveness that could be helpful for anyone living with anger, bitterness, and sadness.

Hurricane Relief - More Help is Needed

Temple Beth Shalom in San Juan Puerto Rico experienced considerable flooding in their building during Hurricane Maria. Many congregants are also having difficulties and can use our help. we're sure it would be very much appreciated.
The URJ's Camp Newman was destroyed by the fires in Sonoma County, California. There also are about 5 congregations in the area. As soon as we learn of efforts to help, we will let you know.

Thank you for all your help to-date. These disasters have affected many of our fellow congregations and their members.

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago is collecting funds for victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
Go to Hurricane to see how you can help.
